We will be finishing by climbing Snowdon on Monday 27th August (Bank Holiday Monday). We’d like to create a Cancer Research UK presence there and would love you to join us at Snowdon. If you’re feeling energetic you could climb up and down with us, for those not feeling too energetic you could take the train up and join us walking down, or if you’d like to get the train both ways, we’d love to see you at the top. For those walking, we plan to leave the Pen-y-Pass car park at 12 noon. Ping us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Walking Option
We will be starting our final ascent via the Pyg track from the Pen-y-Pas car park (approx 6 miles from LLanberis). This car park is regularly full, so make plans to dump your vehicle elsewhere and get to the car park for 12 noon. You may find the following link useful:
The Train Option
For those who’d like a more leisurely day, you can take the train to the summit and meet us there. Please note the station is in Llanberis and not where the walkers will start their trek. As it’s a Bank Holiday we expect the mountain to be busy, so it’s advisable to book tickets in advance. Please contact us for details of timings if you plan to do this.
